2018 YEAR IN REVIEW

Wow, what a milestone year our House experienced in 2018! It was truly our “good to great” year with our Walk for Kids, Red Shoe Society's Gala and Golf Tournament, and the 5th Annual A Few Good Men Gala generating tremendous support for our program. None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary commitment of our community. Our dedicated volunteers, meal groups, Red Shoe Society members, generous donors, and hardworking board members, all made a difference for families facing the most difficult time of their lives. It’s hard to believe that our House just celebrated our 7-year anniversary. Since our grand opening in December 2011, over 4,500 families have stayed with us—more than 15,000 guests who have called us their “home away from home” during their time of need. All of us at the Long Beach Ronald McDonald House are deeply grateful to our wonderful friends and partners for making it possible for these families to find the comfort and care they need so they can focus all of their energy on healing their sick child.

THE GILLE FAMILY

“We will forever be grateful to all who make the Ronald McDonald House a success, and hope to give back ourselves once we return home.”
